Teaching Hands:Believe in you.

How could Tad do this to me, Natasha muttered to herself.

"After all I've done for him."She spoke outloud to no one. While looking into her coffee mug, that old feeling of disappointment began to creep in. She felt as though a Vampire came by and sucked her dry. Not that she's had any experience in that sort of thing. Perhaps Natasha needs to contact a blood sucker to take her out of her misery. Something to ponder....?

"At every turn there seems to be a letdown." She stated. "There has got to be a way out of this mess." "How?" No immediate answers came to her. Instead she fell into a trance like state.

Deep in thought Natasha began to twirl her long brown hair. Before she realized it her hair was now wrapped around her index finger and somehow inter twined with the large ring she wore. She began to look around for help. No one was available. Everyone was enjoying the person they were with. Natasha's blue mood began to add new life to her already feeling of being a failure - loser.

"Don't dispair." She heard in her head. "Great now I'm going mental."

"Hi. You seem to be all tied up. Can I help?" Came a gentle female voice. Now I'm hearing voices, Natasha said in her head while looking up to see a smiling angelic face.

"Yes, I can use your help."

Both women began to laugh as they unwrapped Natasha's index finger from her hair. The older woman named Leslee, made a comment to Natasha.

"No matter what happens, always believe in yourself. You can do anything you want to do. Make sure you create a simple plan of action with realistic due dates for goals."

Teaching Hands Description - Involvement

MISSION: We are a teaching non-profit organization using the arts to aid those in need and teach the community new coping skills, by helping others.

There is a crisis in our nation and Meridian, Idaho - transitional life changes. Another disaster is the art of communications and listening, they are dead. These two fire breathing dragons have caused such hideousness with; homelessness, hunger, obesity, depression, abuse, anxiety and violence.

Who is effected the most? Children and their families. The Meridian Police Department and Teaching Hands have teamed up for prevention. Our office building will be a processing center, casual classroom and resources for the community. Our blog is teaching the nation as we have done face to face for the past five years. We are more than happy to team up with other agencies involving children and their families.

A restaurateur of twenty years gathered his knowledge and mine of humantarian efforts to create this prototype. The community goes into the Teaching Hands restaurant to eat. The profits go back into the community for those in need. This for seven days a week, 14 1/2 operating hours. The Vet Center has teamed up with us by providing volunteers to work in the restaurant. Teens at risk, those on probation will be volunteering as well.

For those wanting to be a silent sponsor, benefactor or philantropist (tax deductible) you have until Wednesday, August 21, 2013 to participate with the restaurant. This is due to time restrictions and our busy season is upon us. The blog, videos and social media needs my immediate attention.

Thank you for taking the time to read about Teaching Hands. We look forward in working with you. Many Blessings toward your endeavors in making your community a better place.

Sincerely,

Cindy Williams

Teaching Hands: Money Honey

Our life hasn't been the same since he showed up. He was the color of the posted image. Except he wasn't 2 legged but 4. Rather large for his species. ... His eyeball was the size of a fist.

Who is this creature?

Why a Fire Breathing Dragon that has brought us treasures. All we need to do is develope a relationship with him. No biggy? Right? Love and care will give him self assurance to be our friend. And for us to accept the treasures with grace.

Oh Money Honey! I'm right here with the Dragon you sent.  Come find us.

Hugs and Kisses.

Walk you and fido

Once again summer is upon us. Did you lose the weight you wanted to before summer time?  I haven't come close.  Instead of beating myself up grab my loyal friend. He never complains in taking a walk or any form of exercise for that matter.

Happy trails with your adventures in getting your body in shape.  Here's to physical virality.

Don't forget to take your best friend with you.

Teaching Hands: Trying to be Cheerful All the Time

Have you noticed that people may come across a bit more cheerful during the spring season? Not sure if its bright  yellows, purples and reds we see this time of the year. Or our spirits are sunnier with the the warmer weather and sunnier days.

We came up with a couple of ideas to keep the sunshine with you no matter what. Wear  bright colored shirt, pants or accessory during those dreary days. Play music that gets you moving. Take time for yourself. Visit with friends.

Have fun!

Augason Farms Emergency Food Storage Kit - 30 day - 1 person (Google Affiliate Ad)Today is the first day of Spring in America, yea. One of our favorite things to do is go by the farmers market.  You won't find any boxes there.... Nor will you find a bunch of preservatives or garbage added to the fruit or veggie. There is nothing like eating food that won't kill you. :-)
